Wonersh lies 3 miles south of Guildford, Surrey. It is a pretty village with 1 shop, 1 pub, 1 surgery, 1 dentist, 2 churches and 3 village Halls. It used to have a station on the Guildford to Horsham line (LBSCR) but Dr B closed the line in 1964.
We now have a Pharmacy since Oct 2011.

The name of Darstaed may not be familiar to UK collectors but it is well known to serious collectors of continental passenger coaches, as the brand was created in the 1950s by Marcel Darphin in Switzerland to make 40cm replica Marklin style mainline coaches. Some of these are illustrated in the Coaches section above and it is our intention to relaunch these in the not too distant future as Andries Gabrowsky bought the rights to make them from Marcel some 18 years ago.
In the meantime Darstaed is establishing itself with an ever increasing range of UK models in the classic coarse scale tinplate style of Marklin, Bassett-Lowke and to a lesser extent, Hornby.
